Meet Mona! This special girl found herself at an overcrowded kill shelter in GA, through no faullt of her own. Our rescue group saved her from euthanasia but we had to put her in boarding to save her life as we have no foster homes available. It's now been almost 4 mths, this is no different than a shelter to Mona, she deserves to have a family of her own! Mona is approximately 5 yrs old, is a big girl, weighing in at 70 lbs! She's got big bones!! She is being overlooked simply due to her not being a younger spring chicken! Mona has plenty of life in her yet and she's past all those puppy and adolescent behaviours!! Definitely not as much work as the younger ones! Mona is a sweet gal who loves snuggles on the couch, toys, and rolling on her back in the grass!! She is crate trained and house trained. She is so well behaved with adults. A home without smaller children would be best - she truly is the sweetest but would probably knock over toddlers by accident just because she's a big heavy girl!
