Meet Eleanor! Eleanor is a lovely lady, approximately 2-3 years old, with a heart as warm as her fur. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to resilience and trust. Her journey started in a loud shelter, where she was a new mother to a litter of 8 precious puppies. Eleanor's protective instincts ran deep, making it challenging for her to trust humans. This situation put her and her little ones at risk of euthanasia. But then, a ray of hope shone through when Eleanor found her way to St. Francis Farm. Over time, in the safe and loving environment of the farm, she has made incredible strides in opening up and learning to trust our dedicated staff. Once she feels comfortable, Eleanor transforms into a total mush! It does still take a little time forher to warm up to new faces. We are looking for someone that would be comfortable coming to the farm and getting to know this precious girl. She adores being close to her person and is always eager to earn treats with her impeccable behavior. You'll find her peacefully content in her kennel, only becoming vocal when it's feeding time. Eleanor is a social butterfly among her fellow canine friends, enjoying their company and outdoor playtime. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ELEANOR was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ELEANOR’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ELEANOR’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ELEANOR’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
