Attention Chihuahua lovers! If you’re looking for a snuggly little companion, meet Baby! This adorable 8-year-old gal weighs just under 7 lbs, but she’ll take up a big space in your heart. Baby loves to be held and snuggled, but she also enjoys the company of other dogs her size. She’s also fine with cats. She has an undeniable love for treats so, if you’ve got a snack, she’ll be your best friend for life! Baby’s ideal home would be one where someone is around most of the time. Another dog of similar size to keep her company would be a plus. Because of her small size, we’re looking for a home without young children. Ages 12 and up should be about right. Baby is spayed, up to date on vaccines and recently had her teeth cleaned, so she’s ready to share her sweet smile with you. She does have a heart murmur, for which she needs daily meds, but is otherwise in good health. Baby’s adoption fee is $250, which includes 6 months of heartworm prevention and 3 months of heart meds. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Baby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Baby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Baby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Baby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Baby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
