Meet Oxford! Age: approx 10 weeks. Breed: pit mix, we are unsure of breed mixture. Mom is approx 30lbs mixed breed. Size: approx 8lbs at this time, we believe he will be about 40-45ishlbs. Training: crate trained, and doing great with leash and house training. He is just a pup and will need continued guidance and training. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. Reason for rescue: owner release, can't care for. He is microchipped, and current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oxford was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oxford’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oxford’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oxford’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
