About this Dog
To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 2 months (as of 6/19/25) Weight: 7 lbs (as of 8/5/25) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Andrew (aka Andy), a delightful Corgi mix puppy who's ready to bring joy and laughter into your home. Known for his sweet and friendly nature, Andy is a bundle of fun, always ready to play with his toys or cuddle up for a gentle hug. His goofy antics are sure to keep you entertained, while his smart and playful spirit makes him the perfect companion for any adventure. He is great with small dogs, kids, and is interested in cats in a playful way. Being just puppies, the Bears litter will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Andy is looking for a loving home where he can thrive and share her endless love and affection. Why not make Andy, or her sisters Ellie, Roo or Beanie, a part of your family and experience the joy he brings? An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.

Adopt Andrew Bears and Receive Andrew Bears's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Andrew Bears's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Andrew Bears's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Andrew Bears, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Andrew Bears's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Andrew Bears was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Andrew Bears’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Andrew Bears’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Andrew Bears’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
