About this Dog

Honey doesn’t have any vetting through us. We did take her to the vet to see if she was chipped- which she isn’t- and while we were there, the vet saw that she had had surgery on her right back leg, maybe ACL and also a recent teeth cleaning. She is good with other dogs once she gets to know them. Her best friend is a chiweenie and she acts like her protector. We introduced her to my dog, a cockapoo, and all she wanted to do was bark in his face as if she was excited and then try to play with him. I think shed be the same with cats, but I don’t know. I haven’t seen her around kids either but I am willing to bet shed be great with them since she is so gentle. She might have been an inside dog because she loves to be around people and cuddled up. Unsure if shes crate trained but she is potty trained. When we found her she had on a barking collar, we have since taken it off but the only time she barks is when she wants out of the fence (which we have had to barricade so she cant get out) or if she sees other people on the other side of the fence (hence wanting to be with you). Great with food. Just minds her business and she has her own bowl she eats out of. VERY sweet and VERY loving. She will stand there all day if you pet her and she loves to give hugs.

Adopt Honey and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Honey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Honey receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Honey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Honey's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Honey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Honey’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Honey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Honey’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
