About this Dog
My German shepherds name is Kodah, she is 3 years old and is spayed. And I am her third owner. Health: She is 83.5 lbs, she is up-to-date on her vaccines. She takes monthly Heart-guard and Nex-guard for heart-worms and flea/ticks. Her last heart-worm check was on 1/9/2020 and it was negative. she is micro-chipped and the company is petlink. Temperament: She is a mellow girl. She is not one to be all annoying, bothering you to play. She is very content to just lay on a dog bed or couch while you are doing things in the house or are relaxing. However, she does LOVE to play fetch and go on walks. She knows the heel command so walks are not to bad but she does sometimes pulls just out of excitement. She does not bark very much, really only when she is playing. Drive: She has a prey drive. She is not good with small animals (small dogs, cats, rabbits, etc). She was surrendered to me for attacking a small dog in the neighborhood and later a horse the old owner had on her farm. People: she is very good with people. She does not jump or bark at new people. She can be startled when people run by her when on walks. I have not had her around young kids or infants so I can not speak on how she would react to them. Other dogs: My parents have a Pembroke welsh corgi and they get along great. She has been around other dogs when I was in my last job. She did pretty good. Did snap at some of them around toys. She does tense up when first meeting other dogs, and has snapped as a first response. Training: She knows sit, down, stay, bed, come, heel and wait commands. I always make her go to her dog bed and lay down while i prepare her food. I also make her sit and wait for people to go through the door and then she comes in. And when going down stairs, I make her sit and wait at the top while people go down. She is house trained and is not destructive. I leave her in my room when at work or when everyone leaves the house, she just lays on my bed. She hates crates, when I first got her she destroyed 2 plastic crates so I had to get her an Impact metal crate. She scratched and bit at the door. She would eventually settle down, but when I would get her out of the crate, her paws and legs would be all wet from her panting and salivating from stressing out so much. After verifying the adoption, Kodah's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kodah was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kodah’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
