About this Cat
Itchy & Scratchy (named after the Simpsons cat storyline) are brothers, who came to us as little kittens in 2010. Itchy is small and has funny little front legs, and the cutest little face. Scratchy is bigger and bolder and has to know whats going on all the time or at least be able to lie some place where he can see what going on. He is about 12 lbs. They are indoor cats and are the most wonderful company. Itchy is adorable and wants plenty of cuddles and Scratchy will be never far away, looking at the world with his old soul. They do not really meow (other than when they go to the vet) but have funny little rippling noises. Neither like to be picked up both love plenty of affection. They are black and white and fluffy. Itchy (the little one) has recently developed type II diabetes which can go into remission when stable. He has insulin injections. My son has terrible asthma and since coming back from college, is not able to tolerate the cats anymore. During this Corona virus I have not been able to have my son at home with me because of the cats and this has woken us all up to the fact that a choice has to be made. At Christmas my son only managed 2 days with us before he had a really bad attack and had to spend the remainder of Christmas at a hotel. My sons health just has to come first no matter now difficult the decision is to re-home these good furry friends. They are fine at home all day on their own when I'm at work. They would love to be with a couple or someone on their own as they have never been with small children. Itchy loves nothing more than someone who sits still for more than a few minutes and Scratchy would be happy to be looking over your shoulder. I would love these dear kitties to go to a loving home so they can grow old together in comfort. Please can you help us.
