About this Dog
Hazel is a beautiful two-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog-mix. She is extremely loyal and has shown the ability to quickly bond with people who have gained her trust. She wants to be by your side as much as possible, whether playing, cuddling or sleeping. She loves to chase a laser, play with her toys and lay in the sun. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to adequately care for Hazel. As she has gotten older she has grown increasingly anxious in unpredictable situations and around new people. With a big extended family and a home based business there are simply too many new people coming and going from our house. As a result, Hazel has become territorial and occasionally shows aggression toward our other dogs and toward strangers coming to our home. What she craves is a calm, predictable environment where she feels loved, safe and secure, an environment we are unable to provide. This is our final attempt at re-homing Hazel before we have to do the unthinkable and take her to a local shelter. Hazel is such a love, she just needs to find the right home and person who will love her back and give her the TLC that she needs. Hazel is probably not the right dog for you if you have other dogs or small children in your home.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hazel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hazel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hazel’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
