About this Dog
***PLEASE CONTACT FOR PHOTOS- website is unable to upload pics at this time.*** Bentley is just over a year old and weighs around 20lbs. He is super sweet and loving, likes kids and gets along well with other dogs (even larger dogs). We are not sure how he would be with cats, but have no reason to suspect there would be any problems... as he is very friendly and outgoing. He is kennel trained, neutered, and microchipped. Just had his annual at the vet... clean bill of health and current on all shots as well as flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is a happy little guy who loves to play but also enjoys a good cuddle. Bentley enjoys going in the car, and is very well behaved on rides and trips to the pet store. He has not learned any tricks, but lives to play fetch and tends to "chomp" at the air when he has something to say or gets excited, LOL. Bentley had a rough start to life. He was abandoned as a young puppy with his father and another sibling, both which did not survive. They were left in a small, hot plastic container in the middle of summer last year. Animal control picked them up, and Bentley was able to miraculously recover from the malnutrition and dehydration he suffered and then was adopted by our family. He does have a small tissue overgrowth on his left eye (a birth defect), which the vet says does not create any issues and should not in the future. We call it his "special eye". But otherwise, is the picture of health. However, he will over eat if you allow him. The ideal home would be a family who can give him all the play time and attention required for a young puppy. But Bentley would make a great companion for a single individual as well. He will come with bowls, food (with container) and treats, kennel, beds, toys and toy box, complete vet records, microchip information, leash/collar/ harness, grooming supplies (shampoo, conditioner and brush), and approx 8 months worth of preventions (HeartGuard and NexGuard). You shouldn't need to buy anything for a while. We are rehoming Bentley due to moving/relocation and are unable to take him with us. The place we are staying has a number of pets rule, and we have another dog who is special needs. We figured Bentley would be more likely to find a good home as he is young, lap sized, friendly, and doesnt require special care. I am available and happy to answer any further questions or concerns, as well as send photos. We are asking for a donation to be made to nokillnetwork.org , in lieu of a rehoming fee.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bentley's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bentley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bentley’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
