About this Dog
Milby was born January 2, 2019. He is a Coon Hound/Rottweiler mix. He has had his 1st round of shots and dewormer, and we will continue his vaccinations until he is adopted. He is heartworm negative and is crate trained. He already know basic sit and down commands and is doing great on the housebreaking but will continue to need worked with, as he needs to potty frequently still. Milby is a barrel full of energy and will need a home that is very active. He does well with cats but is very curious and sometimes overly playful with them. He will need to have obedience training due to his breed and a tendency to be overly dominant and aggressive at times when he doesn’t get his way. We have a 13 year old golden retriever who cannot handle Milby’s constant desire to play, pounce, and nip at him. He will need continued work on socialization with other dogs. I do not recommend a household with younger children. He can be so extremely sweet and loveable but he also has a feisty side that will take patience and proper training to combat. Prefer a home with previous Rott experience.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Milby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Milby’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
