About this Cat
Joshua is an 8 1/2 year old orange cat. He is a very friendly cat with lots of love to give. He likes to be close to people and enjoys being rubbed around his head, face, ears and back. He will only eat dry food and drink water. He loves to play with string as long as someone is on the other end. He has a kangaroo beanie baby that he has loved since he was just 8 weeks old. We call it his “Buddy.” He loves kids, and has always lived with them, so I can say with confidence that he is very gentle and tolerant with them, but would also do well in an adult only home. He has a very calm demeanor, so unless it’s a hectic house, he will do just fine. He has always been an only pet, so we will only rehome him to continue to be the only pet.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Joshua's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Joshua was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Joshua’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
