About this Dog
I took Ava into my home about 4 months ago and she was absolutely the best dog ever! She does not chew, beg, go to the bathroom inside, nothing. She is sweet and kind and cuddly! However, I did take her from someone who had just had a baby and did not want to have the dog around the baby so she re-homed her. I adopted an 8 week old shih tzu on January 1st and since then life has been stressful for all. Ava simply does not like the puppy and shows her distaste for him in various unacceptable ways. I have given this union my all, even had a dog behaviorist come spend a couple of hours in my home with them both to provide tips with the understanding that some older dogs (she's around 6 years) will never adjust to another dog in the house. Unfortunately that is the case with Ava and so I am looking to re-home her to a one dog family. She is stressed, I am stressed, the puppy is clueless so he goes on about his day. I would love to find Ava a new home, and if someone takes her she is literally the best dog you could ever have, just know she cannot tolerate other dogs, especially puppies, or small children. Hoping someone will want to adopt her as I refuse to take her to a shelter.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ava's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ava was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ava’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
