About this Dog

Koda is a beautiful, gentle, loving (when HE’S in the mood) goofy, still thinks he's 11 mths old, strong, 105-110lb Rottie. He’s the love of my life! Medically, he’s had no major issues, he’s been neutered (sadly-but we’d thought it would help him out). Koda NEEDS to go to a man that KNOWS this breed, has time to TRAIN & spend TIME with him. NO children, NO cats, should be in the home! He did however, get along with our other dog Jade, she’s a female Lab-Sheltie mix. He’s never been face to face with other dogs except our trainers two Rotties. Here is my poor baby’s story… We adopted Koda from a family that couldn’t keep him anymore cuz the husband said Koda tried to bite him after he went to pick up spilled beef stew off the floor. Hmmmm. We got to their house & Koda was out of control, jumping up on everyone, (them-us) they had no control over this very large 11 month old adorable Rottie! As soon as I saw him, I had to have him & he was going to be my third Rottie so I know the breed & know how to train them, I couldn’t wait to start our journey together! Well, it was a long 1st year! He learned a lot as did we. This boy didn’t just try to bite his first owner for NO REASON, he was abused!! There was NO DOUBT IN MY MIND!! When ever Koda has possession of something, weather it be his an you’re trying to get it from him, say his bowl. Or it’s something he KNOWS he shouldn’t have, and you try to get it from him, this dog with turn into Cujo!! I have NEVER been scared of a dog before but the first time I saw this on my baby boy, I just couldn’t believe my eyes!! It broke my heart! Something happened to him! There was other things that we started to notice over time also. No one could more their feet around him or he’d go after your feet n try to bite them (he doesn’t do that anymore),I believe he was kicked! You also can’t lift your hand around him, he thinks you’re going to hit him! He will LOVE the woman of the house. I’m the only one he sits on the lap of, let’s me rub his belly an burp him after he eats lol clean his eyes, do commands with. He only listens to my 24 yr old son or myself, hates my fiancé, that’s why I have to get rid of him! He has bitten him three times now, an the last time was really bad! The first two times he nipped. But Koda does nothing but growl at him now, doesn’t listen to him, barks at the tv while he’s trying to watch sports, it’s awful! I’m worried about his health now cuz it’s nothing but a yelling/barking/growling matching an something bad is just going to happen!! An I CANT LET THAT HAPPEN! Not for my fiancé or Koda!! It’s NOT Koda’s fault! I KNOW it’s not! My poor boy was SO ABUSE BY THIS GUY before us he doesn’t know what he’s doing cuz as soon as he’s starts doing it an I yell at him an snaps out of it, an acts like he didn’t know what was going on? I just don’t believe he knows he’s doing it, cuz he’s such a gentle giant to me!! If you could PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME find someone to adopt my boy for me, I would be eternally grateful!!

How will Koda receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Koda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Koda's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Koda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Koda’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Koda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Koda’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
