About this Dog
Animal Profile: Oslo is is an estimated ~8 month old Chihuahua mix that will be joining us form California on May 30th. He was surrendered by his owners and probably didn't have the best start to life. He is a bit shy and underweight. He's looking for someone to show him the best that life has to offer in the PNW. We will post more as we get to know him. Foster Update: Meet Oslo! A very sweet, energetic, and full-of-personality pup! He has settled into his foster home wonderfully and is ready to find his forever home. Here is what his foster mom has to share about Oslo, "Hello! I'd like to introduce you to Oslo. He is an 8 month old chi terrier mix, a little underweight at 7lbs, and a bundle of love and energy! Oslo is very food motivated, a voracious eater, and very curious, a fast learner. He will be easy to train with routine and consistency. He has mastered food puzzles, fetch, and is working on"drop it," and he is working on "sit," as well as other commands. While Oslo is new to the leash, he's not leash reactive at all, and doesn't object to leashing up to go outside, in fact he loves it! He doesn't bark at nearby dogs, and loves to say hi to all people and dogs he's met so far. Oslo loves his people and prefers to be with them, and settles down in a crate as long as he can see you. He's also ok in a crate for a few hours if you're out of the house. Out of his crate he barrels around with excitement, but once he calms down he will sit in your lap chill and happy. Oslo is a great catch and is going to love his furever home as soon as he finds it!" Oslo is a very smart, eager, and attentive pup who is looking for a home that can provide him companionship, engagement, and leadership. He would love a family that can continue his basic training and keep in engaged and involved in day-to-day activities. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Adopt Oslo and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oslo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Oslo's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Oslo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Oslo's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oslo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oslo’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Oslo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oslo’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
