About this Cat
NAME: Martin Meisner AGE/GENDER: 2 year old male BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic short hair WEIGHT: 12 lbs LITTER BOX TRAINING: Good OTHER CATS: Martin is very interested in the cat in his foster home. He would likely enjoy the company of another friendly cat. DOGS: TBD CHILDREN: Cat respectful children, 8 and older. LOCATION: Martin is currently in a foster home. A meeting can be arranged with an approved application. ADOPTION DONATION: $150 HEALTH: Martin is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental and general care costs. HISTORY: Martin came to us from eastern Washington, where he was living in an outdoor cat colony. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Martin started off very timid and unsure about this whole living indoors thing but, with time, he has blossomed into a sweet boy with an insatiable appetite for playing with toys! He can still get started easily but is getting braver each day. His favorite activities include sitting in front of the window and watching the world outside, playing with wand toys, and giving head butts to ask for pets. Martin does sometimes lightly put his teeth on your arm as his way of saying he has had enough of your pets - so he might do best in a home without young children. He is a very affectionate boy once he gets comfortable, and will even drool when he gets prolonged pets! About Motley Zoo: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer-run structure and decentralized/virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application. We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew
