About this Cat
Two cats see photos. Kitty Leann is Orange Tabby, mixed breed, now age 9; Caty, is grey & beige, mixed breed Siamese, now age 9. My husband died and I’m moving to CA Dec 3rd. Shelters here are full of kittens. Both cats have chips for ID. They’ve only lived with us so are afraid of strangers. Vet won’t accept them for placement because they are too busy. Please help me These a very loving cats, but they take their time in getting to know you. Kitty loves to sit in my lap while I watch tv. Caty (we called her Cat more than Caty) was very attached to my deceased husband, Al. Cat took about a month or so to warm up to me. Cat is accustom to “playtime” between 5-7pm each day. If I’m having a bad day, she’ll wait until I call her. She does not like to be picked up, but she loves to be petted and spoken to in a soft voice. Al was very attached to both cats. I’m was busy with caregiving while Al fought his cancer, and now I’m with busy preparing to move to CA or attending to medical issues, so both cats need more playtime than I can give them. Kitty is controlling in terms of how much time she will allow Cat time with me. However, both cats have been raised together since we adopted them at kitties. They are both neutered and I have a cat tree, carriers,etc. that are available to the adopting family. Kitty usually sleeps with me, but Cat sleeps in various places. They both like to sleep in their tree. In the Winter they tend to climb between the comforters. They’ve been with the same veterinary hospital the whole time they have been with us, so I have copies of everything. Neither of them have been outside ever! There are bears where we live, so we never felt safe letting them out and they have never seemed interested in sneaking past us to get outside. I hope we can find them a loving family. I hate to part with them, but I really cannot care for them any more. I want them to enjoy their lives!
