About this Dog
Animal Profile: Zeke is a gorgeous sable 2-year-old German Shepherd that is looking for a home that has experience with Shepherds. He was purchased from a breeder (imported from German lines) at 6 weeks old, and was mostly an outdoor dog that didn't get much in the way of obedience training. He learned basic commands like "sit" and "down," but now he's being fostered by Head Up Dog Training, has had good basic obedience training, and is doing well. He's also house trained and crate trained. Zeke is playful and affectionate and wants to be with his people. He loves carrying around toys in the house, and will even carry them on his walk. His leash manners are a work in progress, and he will need a confident handler to continue his training as he is strong and motivated. Zeke can be leash reactive and dog selective. He has lived with other dogs in the past but his ideal home will have no other pets. Due to his size, strength, and tendency to jump and mouth when he is playing, we will not be considering homes with children. Zeke loves to play fetch and tug, has moderate to high energy, and has good manners inside. He will excel in an active home that will continue his training and is interested in dog sports like rally, nose work, barn hunt or agility. Zeke is up for any adventure but also has an off switch and can hang out at home. He requires a securely fenced yard, and preferably a home outside of the city. We will not be considering apartments or first-time dog owners for Zeke. Adopter Profile: Dog experience required Shepherd experience preferred Secure fenced yard required No children under 12 No other animals preferred Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400 which includes spay/neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a federal 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application

Adopt Zeke and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zeke's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Zeke's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Zeke, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Zeke's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zeke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zeke’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Zeke’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zeke’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
