About this Dog
Adoption Pending. You can see more of these beautiful dogs by clicking on Rescue Dogs. This adorable guy is Oscar and he is a love! Oscar is so sweet, he loves to walk alongside his person and pause to lean into you - what a sweetheart. His calm demeanor and stunning looks will win over everyone who meets him. Oscar ended up at a very crowded shelter just after 4th of July - the shelter got in 400(!) animals in a single week and was so crowded, he had to be transferred to another less crowded shelter to save his life. That shelter contacted us for help. Oscar was surrendered with his brother but his brother got adopted and Oscar was left all on his own. He would love a home and family for himself with maybe a dog or cat pal for company. Oscar is a younger adult Pyr – he is calm and gentle and sweet, a bit shy at first meeting new people but he is a doll who really appreciates having people around. If you are looking for a calm, sweet majestic-looking Pyr, Oscar is your boy! He is currently in boarding but ready to travel to a great home or foster home.
