About this Dog
This is "Merle" He is approximately 3 1/2 years old, neutered/male, Red Merle, Australian Shepherd, and is being fostered in Plymouth, Indiana. He is a very sweet boy!! He is good with people, dogs and cats. He has 1 Basic Obedience class under his belt and is quick to learn!! My TTAD staff LOVES this boy to pieces!! His quirks are that he is quite awful for baths. We do muzzle him for baths so we can get it done quickly and safely. He cannot be crated. He gets super stressed in a crate and will chew at the bars. ..he would likely injure himself in a crate... however he should be confined when left alone as he chewed window trim in his 1st home....one reason for his relinquishment to rescue. He is good in a 5x5 or 5x10 kennel, so he can be safely confined, he just doesn't like real close confinement. Merle's new home will need to have a kennel that's similar to the one in the photo on this page. He can't be left alone in just a room in the house. He is a great dog with TONS of potential. He is excellent for training and could be looked at as a nice performance prospect!! Merle is not a dog for first time dog owners. A home with experience would be best. ********************** This is "Merle." He is approximately 3 1/2 years old, neutered/male, Red Merle, Australian Shepherd. He is a very sweet boy!! Adopt Merle and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Merle's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Merle's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Merle, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Merle's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Merle was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Merle’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Merle’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Merle’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
