About this Dog
Barney is lovable and enthusiastic. He is calm, loving and welcomes human companionship. Barney is happy when he gets to roam in his fenced yard, he likes to toss around or carry a toy, a Nyla bone or if nothing available, Barney will go for the patio chair pad! He is a creature of habit, so if he digs and gets out of his yard, Barney knows exactly where to go the next time. He has a desire to please his owner and is affectionate toward family members. Barney is calm and comfortable in a crate and has no problem running in one when a treat is offered. His favorite spot is curled up in the corner of the sofa. Barney walks well on a leash and will protect his owner from decorative Christmas deer as a few barks should scare them away! He is hesitant about getting in a vehicle, a little coaxing will get him in and once underway, he rides well, at times being nosey as to what is going on in the front. Barney’s ideal home is one with or without children. He gets along with other dogs and is respectable toward cats. Barney has a compact, medium build with a sturdy and athletic body. He weighs 45 pounds. Barney has a smooth coat that is easy to groom. He will stand still while being brushed and if he could, he would say “oooooo” and “awwww” while brushing; he does enjoy it. Barney is a one and half year old Entlebucher Mountain Dog/mix with a tricolor pattern. Adopt Barney and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Barney's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Barney's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Barney, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Barney's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Barney was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Barney’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Barney’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Barney’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
