About this Cat
Meet Aurora, a beautiful adult tortoiseshell with a two-toned face. This young lady had a tough time on the streets, but at Forgotten Cats, she enjoys the security of constant food, soft blankets, and attention from caretakers. Her unique markings make it hard to resist showering her with affection, but in typical tortie fashion, Aurora will let you know if she is in the mood for attention or when she's had enough. She loves playing with a wand, sometimes while hiding in her favorite paper shopping bag, trying to catch the wand as it goes by. This frisky little girl also likes to play hide and pounce with her balls and springs. She also enjoys watching TV and looking out the window. She will claim your bed for her own but generously allow you to sleep there, too. When you wake up, she just might give you a head butt or lick your hand, probably to encourage you to get her breakfast. She is comfortable around adults and we think she would be the perfect fit for a calm adult household with no other cats as she seems to be overwhelmed by feline companions. While we don't know how she would respond to dogs or children, she is best in an adult household. Please check out her video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SNXSTaeVTG0 . Aurora is playing with her foster family. Please submit our no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt. https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Thank you! (Foster: Cheryl P).
