About this Dog
Champ is an adorable and friendly 2-year-old, 90 lb. male lab who was surrendered by his previous owners and brought to Brookline to be fostered. Champ is up for any activity! He loves to go on walks and jogs. He loves fetch (doesn't matter the toy) and tug of war. His favorite toys tend tennis balls or anything that makes noise. He's very good at keeping himself entertained with his toys. Champ is incredibly friendly and loves attention. He will stick by your side if given the chance, but does well if you go into another room without him. He hasn't been exposed much to children, but I would imagine he would do well given how friendly he is. We've passed some little kids on our walks, but he hasn't seemed super interested in them. Champ LOVES other dogs and wants to run around with them. When we encounter dogs on our walks, he immediately wants to play. Champ has never been exposed to cats. He has no prey drive. He’s encountered many different wild animals on our walks (squirrels, groundhogs, bunnies, geese, and even chickens and roosters), but only is interested in the sound of a goose honk. At night & when we’re at work, Champ has run of the house with some doors closed, including our bedroom door. He tends to sleep on the hardwood or in a dog bed. He is house-trained, and he does very well in the car. Champ doesn't know many other commands/tricks other than "sit", so he would love a loving and patient family open to providing further training. Champ has a lot of energy, so he would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. A physical fence is recommended, but not required. He can’t wait to find a family who gives him the love and affection he deserves! Adopt Champ and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Champ's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Champ's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Champ, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Champ's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Champ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Champ’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Champ’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Champ’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
