About this Dog
Beautiful Bruno is an affectionate 5 1/2 year old yellow male lab who is looking for a forever family to snuggle. Bruno is presently staying at a training kennel and doing okay, but he would prefer a quiet home environment where he can relax and flourish. Bruno thrives in a quieter, calm environment and needs a stable, consistent daily routine to help manage his anxiety.Bruno loves being the center of people's attention: he is most happy when he is with people! He loves to be petted and lives for belly rubs and chin scratches. Ear rubs rock, too! Bruno would do best if his forever family is home more than not; however, in his previous home, he was crated for the work day.Bruno will play ball as long as you let him - a great way to exercise him! Bruno definitely needs consistent daily exercise - either brisk walking or playing ball/fetch - to burn off his energy and relax his mind. Bruno knows basic commands - sit, down, and stay - and takes treats gently. He also performs a cute "touchdown" move!Bruno occasionally interacted with middle-school aged kids and behaves well with them. He'd prefer a home with older kids (if any) as young children and babies kids make Bruno very unsure/nervous.No cats or other small critters for Bruno: he'll give chase if given the chance. Bruno does get along with some other dogs, but dogs who are anxious and dominant are not be a good fit for Bruno. At daycare, Bruno socializes with other confident dogs; but honestly, he prefers to be close to his human buddies most. 100% of Bruno's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Bruno.
Adopt Bruno and Receive Bruno's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bruno's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bruno's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bruno, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bruno's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bruno was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bruno’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bruno’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bruno’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
