Meet Slim – Your New Adventure Buddy! Slim is a sweet and spirited 1-year-old (estimated) German Shepherd mix weighing in at 60lbs. She’s the perfect blend of energy and affection—ready for hikes, swims, and snuggle time on the couch. Whether it’s a good chew toy or a run through the yard, Slim is happiest when she’s active and by your side.This smart girl is already house and crate trained, and she is living with a Great Dane and has been socialied with every size dog! She has not met a dog she has not loved! Slim can be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly! She has been out and about to many events with no issue! She is a true "Diner Dog", meaning she will lay at your feet and people watch all day! Anyone can stop and pet her and she loves it! If you're looking for a loyal, outdoorsy friend who’ll stick by your side through every trail and cuddle session, Slim is your girl! She is spayed, up-to-date vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 7/12 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Slim was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Slim’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Slim’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Slim’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
