About this Dog
Petunia is a 2 year old, 27 lb. french bulldog mix with a lot of personality who is looking for a frenchie savvy adopter to live her best life with. Ms. Petunia came into rescue as she was giving birth to her pups, and was a great mother to her babies. Her babies have all found their forever homes, and now she is ready for her turn. Petunia is housetrained and does well in her crate. She has done okay with the cats in her foster home, sometimes needing a little redirection. Petunia will play with dogs closer to her size and can be quite playful with her humans. She'd do well as an only dog or with one or two respectful dog buddies (who won't bark at her). She would do best in a home without children or with older respectful children. Petunia is highly food motivated, and will show her appreciation for her meal with a nice belch afterwards. She's got all the frenchie snorts and grunts, with a gentle rolling snore while napping. As with everyone, we all have our pet peeves. Petunia happens to be anti-cleaning. The mop and spray bottles are her enemies, and she will try to help you slay them if you let her. Gotta have priorities. She loves nylabones and taking a good snooze. She prefers to hang out wherever you are, and enjoys being outside if it isn't too hot out. Petunia is available for adoption now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL #16182.

Adopt Petunia and Receive Petunia's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Petunia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Petunia's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Petunia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Petunia's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Petunia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Petunia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Petunia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Petunia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
