Meet Luigi!! He is looking for his "Mario" and the rest of his new family. Luigi is an 11 month old Lab/Hound/Boxer? mix puppy. We see a lot of breeds in there that make him 100% "Good Boy". Luigi was sadly surrendered by his owner due to lack of time to care for him Becsuse he was alone most of the last 6 months, Luigi didn't have alot of doggie knowledge like how to play with toys or chew on a bone! His foster sisters have been teaching how to play and other doggie manners. He is a fast learner! Luigi is fully potty trained and used to the crate while his foster mom works. He is a high energy pup who loves other dogs and wants to play, play, play! When his fur-siblings get tired of him, he will go into his crate and take a nap...until they are ready to go again! Luigi walks side by side with his foster mom and likes long walks around the neighborhood. Luigi loves to give doggie kisses and gets very excited when he first sees his humans, but he listens well to commands like off, sit, and working on "place." Luigi would love an active family who would play with him by throwing a toy or take longs walks. He would also love a home with another dog or dogs to play with! Luigi is about 50 lbs and still growing, but is probably nearing is full grown weight. Luigi is a cuddle dog when he's not playing and loves to snuggle with his humans. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luigi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luigi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luigi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luigi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
