About this Dog
Hi there! My name is Jack, and I’m a smart, spirited Blue Heeler mix searching for my forever home. At just a year and a half old, I’m the perfect mix of playful energy and growing maturity. I weigh about 47 pounds and have a big heart to match!I was found as a stray and spent some time living on a farm, where I proved to be a friendly guy with everyone — people, dogs, even livestock (well… except for chickens. Let’s just say we agreed to disagree). Because of that, I probably wouldn’t be the best match for a home with cats or chickens.I’ve been fostered with kids and other dogs, and I did great with them! Older children who can keep up with my active lifestyle would be best. I do enjoy the company of other pups, though I sometimes like to be the boss — but hey, someone has to be in charge! At the end of the day, I’m all about my people and love being close to them.I’m a total goofball who loves toys, treats, and anything that gets me moving. I can jump super high (especially for snacks!), and my foster mom says I’d be amazing at agility. I don’t know what that means exactly, but it sounds like a blast! I’m very food-motivated and eager to learn — training with me will be fun and rewarding. House trained? You bet! I even go to the door to let you know when it’s time to go out. Crate trained? We're working on it. I sleep through the night in my crate but would much rather hang out with you during the day. Leash manners? Getting better! However a minimum 4 ft fenced in yard is a requirement for me. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccinations — all packed up and ready to move in with my forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving pup who’s ready to explore, learn, and love big — I’m your guy. Apply today to meet me as I'm available now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL #16182.
Contribute to Jack's Stash!

100% of Jack's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Jack.
Adopt Jack and Receive Jack's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jack's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jack's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jack, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jack's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jack was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jack’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jack’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jack’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
