About this Cat
Birthday : January 1, 2018 Leara is the perfectly imperfect sweetheart who is hoping that you can love her and her slight abnormalities (maybe more)! She was discovered outside when a TNR project was trapping cats for neutering/spaying. To their surprise, she was already fixed! Seeing how she was an affectionate girl, they decided it would be best to take her to a rescue to find her a loving family. And here she is! We aren't entirely sure about her history. Her left ear looks crinkled, but it doesn't seem to hinder her. It may have been caused due to an old injury prior to her rescue. She tends to build up some ear wax and debris that should be cleaned periodically, but it's easily controlled. The little darling has only five teeth left, and she's preparing to undergo another dental surgery that will remove all if not most of the other teeth. Despite her hurdles, this girl doesn't let her rule her life! She handles eating quite well, happy that she doesn't feel pain anymore with her teeth! Her cheerful attitude is contagious, and it's hard to ignore when she's loving you to death! Her favorite thing in the whole world is rubbing and cuddling next to her humans. Human attention is her bread and butter! She also has a bit of a playful side, so maybe you two can enjoy some silly and fun activities together! Leara's adoption donation is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. Her dental will be done at the expense of the rescue. Adopt Leara and Receive Leara's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Leara's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Leara's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Leara, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Leara's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leara was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leara’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Leara’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Leara’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
