About this Dog
Age: 11 weeks Size: 10 lbs Estimated breed: Cattle Dog/Carolina Dog mix Update from my foster 5/30: Canela (aka Cali) is such a sweet, fun, puppy! She was blessed with beauty and brains together - I call her my little red panda. She has picked up on potty training super quickly and sleeps through the night in her crate without any accidents. She absolutely adores other dogs and has the sweetest, most submissive approach to meeting new ones - she crawls up to them on her belly, tail wagging a mile a minute, with a nervous little smile on her face. She desperately wants to make friends with every dog she sees and is able to win most of them over with her winning approach! She’s best buddies with foster brother Jude and is quite the little spitfire, nipping at his heels and telling him off anytime he steals one of her toys. Cali is an absolute joy to have as a foster and will fit into any kind of home as long as they have a resident doggie friend for her to play with. Canela and her siblings were found living on the streets of Texas, where homeless dogs are too many to count and shelters are already dangerously overcapacity. It's clear these puppies were born and raised as strays, as they were so shy and timid with people. Their luck turned around when good samaritans picked them up and kept them safe until we could fly them up to PA to begin looking for their forever homes! Canela is around 11 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs. We are guessing she is a cattle dog/carolina dog mix, but since we don't know who her parents are we can't say for sure. Canela is a shy girl who is learning people aren't so scary. She's much braver than her brother Canelo and is helping show him the ropes in their foster home. She adores other dogs and will need to go to a home with at least one friendly resident pup! She loves to run and play with her doggie foster siblings in the yard and is discovering how fun toys can be. With time, patience, training, and plenty of love, Canela will blossom into a confident young girl! To adopt Canela, please apply on our website! https://www.nirvanaanimalrescue.org/adoption-application Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of any of our animals. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training. PA Kennel License #18366

Adopt Canela and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Canela's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Canela's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Canela, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Canela's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Canela was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Canela’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Canela’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Canela’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
