About this Dog
Age: 2 years Size: 70 lbs Estimated breed: Retriever/Shar Pei mix My perfect home: At least one other friendly resident pup, no cats! Update 4/13: Sinclair spent a few weeks as adopted, but is now coming back to the rescue to find his perfect forever family. While he tested well with cats on leash, once in his new home, we learned that Sinclair prefers a home with no kitties. Fortunately, he can live with just about everything else - other dogs, kids, and all people! He is a shy boy who really gains his confidence from the presence of another dog, so we are requiring he go to a home with a friendly, confident, resident pup. He loves his people so much that he wants to be with them at all times, but has been doing well on a daily dose of trazadone and being crated in a heavy-duty kennel. He'd love a family who is home during the day to give him lots of love! Sinclair has never met a dog who he didn't love and would do well with dogs of all different shapes, sizes, and personalities. He is the sweetest, most sensitive boy with so much love to give, he just needs to find a person to receive it from him. Sinclair was found as a stray with mama Steffie in rural South Carolina. He was wearing a harness, so it's clear he belonged to someone at some point. Unfortunately, no one ever came looking for him, so the shelter became his new home. When volunteers realized his friend Steffie was pregnant, we got her into a foster ASAP so she could have her puppies in a safe environment. We promised we would come back for her buddy Sinclair, and once a foster stepped up, he was able to join us in rescue too! Sinclair is around 2 years old and weighs 70 lbs. He is a big baby who shelter volunteers dubbed a "stage 5 clinger" due to the way he would hug onto their legs anytime they got him out of the kennel. He adores people and wants nothing more than to cuddle with them any chance he gets! He was used as the shelter's dog tester, which means he was the first dog introduced to new intakes in order to assess their dog friendliness. He met countless dogs and was friendly and social with them all! He is working on his crate and house training in his foster home and is eager to learn even more skills in his forever home. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training. PA Kennel License #18366

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sinclair, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sinclair's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sinclair was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sinclair’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
