About this Dog
Meet THUNDER! - our dashing Lab Retriever mix who has come to our shelter as a stray. He is a young pup still at approx. 8 months in age, and was once part of a family. This boy is sweet as sugar and still has a little growing left to do, but is going to be the perfect size for sneaky snuggles and surprise lap-sitting. Although THUNDER is shy at first meeting, he’s a young adult fueled by curiosity and fun He has a great black, white and speckled coat and is such a nice boy that has a nice medium energy level and enjoys being on the move but will also settle easily when it's time to rest. THUNDER's eyes speak to his intelligence desire to be loved by his very own family. Smart, loyal, and full of youthful energy, he'll make the perfect companion for hiking trips, long walks, or family adventures. If you're looking for a walking or hiking buddy who also moonlights as a cuddle champion, then our THUNDER may be just the boy for you! Thunder is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV. Please contact the shelter at 304-394-0800 for more information or to arrange a meet and greet.

100% of Thunder's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Thunder.
Adopt Thunder and Receive Thunder's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Thunder's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Thunder's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Thunder, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Thunder's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Thunder was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Thunder’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Thunder’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Thunder’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
