About this Cat
Meet Max! Max was rescued by good samaritans who wanted to ensure this super cat had a chance at his life best. At first, Max was very scared, hungry, and matted up all over his coat. With good groceries, vetting care and TLC, Max has now blossomed into a striking, loving cat who is ready to leave life on the streets far in the rearview. Can his forever home be with you? Once Max is comfortable, he LOVES to be petted, brushed, and to play! He is vocal with the most adorable meeps and mews. While in foster, he was observed comfortable around the resident senior cats and rabbits. A recent arrival to Animal Advocates rescue, Max can be a little hesitant at first. But when he's relaxed, Max shows that he really enjoys the companionship of everyone he meets - volunteer caregivers and fellow resident felines. We image Max will adapt to most home environments and make a wonderful companion for a family who is willing to be patient with him. Max's adopter will be rewarded with a fun-loving cat who is fluffy, goofy and all around sweetheart. Max has plush orange marble tabby and white markings. His birthday is approximated in July 2024. He has tested negative for Felv/FIV, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped and treated for fleas/dewormed. If you are interested in meeting a cat, the first step is to complete an online application located at www.animaladvocates.net (under the "Adopt" menu). Thank you for considering a rescue cat from Animal Advocates!

Adopt Max and Receive Max's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Max's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Max's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Max, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Max's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Max was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Max’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Max’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Max’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
