With his glossy black coat and those bright, wide eyes, Alfredo cuts a dashing figure indeed! Alfredo likes attention although he does not always know how to seek it out - he is a “cautiously curious” kind of cat. Once comfortable, Alfredo really does relish in love and affection from people though! Alfredo still displays much playfulness but he’s also just happy relaxing on a cat tree in the sunshine. Alfredo desires a quiet home with cat-savvy people who can give him all of the attention he craves and, at the same time, be patient with him when Alfredo is ready for some alone time. Alfredo’s ideal would be an adult only home or with older school aged children, who can respect his boundaries. Alfredo previously lived with other felines and seems comfortable at the rescue, but can be selective with other cats and prefers the companionship of people. He did live in the past with an older, small breed feline-savvy dog. Alfredo’s birthday is in June 2015. He has tested negative for FIV/Felv, received updated vaccinations, flea/dewormer treatments and is neutered and microchipped. He recently received a wellness exam and is a healthy, spry cat. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alfredo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alfredo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Alfredo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alfredo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
