About this Dog
Meet Piper - a very special pocket-sized pup looking for an equally special forever home to call her own! Piper's previous adopters described her as lover of her walks, and also said that "she's so happy all the time!," among many other rave reviews. This girl is full of playful energy, and always up for an adventure where she is able to explore her new environment at her own pace. And then after she's gotten her zoomies out, she is happy to nap right on top of you—or whichever angle allows for the most closeness! At her core, Piper is a very snuggly gal who just wants to be around her people. Her ideal home will also have someone who has a flexible schedule to be able to be home often, especially initially—and who is also able to commit to continuing her socialization. Piper is very smart, treat, and food-motivated, already knows "sit," "down," and "come," and is eager to please and learn even more! Piper is also already crate trained and mostly housebroken. Her favorite things? Peanut butter-filled Kongs and snuggling up with her beloved stuffies—and people! Piper was previously in foster care after being found as a stray, and then most recently spent some time in an adoptive home living with another dog. After experiencing some challenges with coexisting with them over the last few months, Piper is now on the search for a patient pet-free home that is able to continue working on training with her. This sweet girl is a delightful mix of sweet and spunky, and she’s learning and growing into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. If you are able to help with this next chapter of Piper 's journey, please submit your adoption application or email us at [email protected] to make a big impact on a small(ish) pup! Age: ~2 years old How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A-179018 Weight: 30 lbs Mixed breed (It’s impossible to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. Adopt Piper and Receive Piper's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Piper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Piper's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Piper, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Piper's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Piper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Piper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Piper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Piper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
