Hi! I’m flounder! I’m 12 weeks old. I’m the most darling little tabby baby! I absolutely love to snuggle with my foster mom. I adore my brother and MUST stay with him! We are playful and gentle kittens. A little shy at first, but we warm up nicely. If you hold your hand out, I will head butt it and flop on my side for a long cuddle fest. I love to climb the cat tree, and chase balls. I love other kitties and long naps with my doggie foster sibling Daisy. I made my way to WOL after my mother abandoned me and Sebastian. A Good Samaritan saw me sitting on a doorstep for two days with no help. I was very sick with a terrible cold and my eyes were crusted shut. We were only 6 weeks old. This brave Good Samaritan saw that I really needed help. She saw my brother Sebastian watching over me but she was only able to grab me and get me to safety with a foster. My foster mom insisted that the Good Samaritan also get my brother and two days later we were reunited. We do everything together! We sleep together! We play together! We eat together and we always explore together.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Flounder was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Flounder’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Flounder’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Flounder’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
