Hello! My name is Henley and I am a 4-month-old, 21 lb male. My adoption is conditional on my adopter having me neutered at 6 months of age (September 2025). I am doing well with housetraining and am already crate-trained. I am still a puppy so I will need to be crated when I am left home alone. I am social with people, including kids. I love getting pets, scratches, and snuggles from people. I will happily greet visitors to our home. I have done well with other dogs and could live with a canine companion or by myself! I love toys and playing fetch! I am not picky about my toys—balls, squeaky toys, ropes, plush toys… all are great! I have shown a stronger prey drive so I cannot go to a home with cats. I like tagging along for car rides and walk pretty well on leash! I have been learning sit, come, and leave it. I would love to find a family who will continue my training as I grow! Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Henley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Henley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Henley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Henley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
