About this Cat
We're absolutely giddy and giggly about this Ghibli princess, Kodama! Her loving and affectionately curious demeanor is bound to tilt luck in your favor for your remaining days. Kodama was found as a stray back in June, which is when her original caretakers took her into a vet for treatment and care. It was there where she first tested positive for FeLV and was diagnosed with a ruptured ear drum, which she is still being treated for with PAWS. She is due for additional rechecks at the end of July, which could include a flushing out of her ears. Super sweet and cuddly, Kodama loves making new human friends and doesn't seem to have any mobility issues with her currently skewed perspective, so all she'll need at home from you is all of the love and affection you can spare. She should also be retested for FeLV in a few months, so until then she should be the only cat in her home. **Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—but with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! Adopt Kodama and Receive Kodama's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kodama's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kodama's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kodama, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kodama's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kodama was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kodama’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kodama’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kodama’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
