This sweet, friendly girl loves spending time with her people and is always ready to play—especially if it involves her favorite Soup essential: a ball she can chase around the yard (bonus if it squeaks!). She’s happiest when she’s close to her humans, whether she’s in the middle of a game or simply relaxing by your side. During her first physical exam, we noticed a few small abrasions on the sides of her face. They’ve fully healed and don’t require any ongoing care, but because the cause is unknown, she’s on a precautionary quarantine until November. This means she’ll need a home without other pets until her quarantine wraps up—just to be safe. A staff and volunteer favorite, Soup Dumpling would much rather lap up some love in a cozy home than stay in the shelter. With her playful spirit, loving nature, and ever-ready smile, she’s sure to make life with you even more comforting. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Soup Dumpling was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Soup Dumpling’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Soup Dumpling’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Soup Dumpling’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
