About this Dog
Harriet, part dog and part baby, is the most playful and snuggly girl of your dreams. One of her previous foster parents coined the nickname "Miss Rolly-Polly" for her because after a few moments of pets or scratches she'll lean all ~50+ lbs of her body weight into your legs before flopping onto the floor, with her legs fully splayed into the air and all. Just watch here and here to see how much love she has to give you! Harriet is described as "a true athlete," although a very clumsy one at that—A+ for effort though! She is constantly making everyone laugh when she showing off her goofy side, and can't help but have puppy-levels of excitement about life. She is also always sure to make people smile whenever she passes them by, and in her most ideal world will receive attention and belly rubs in return whenever she has the chance. Harriet is a lady who loves her treats and will take them gently from you, and has also been known to offer a paw for a nice shake, or just to linger for a little while so that she can hold your hand. Harriet has been through lots of change over the last several months, and she would love an adopter that can commit to being patient working through some initial stress while she decompresses in yet another new environment. She can be a bit lively and is still working on some of her manners when meeting new people, since at times she can become jumpy and mouthy when wanting attention or to initiate play. Because of this, we think that Harriet would do best in a home with adults and older dog-experienced children who are ready and comfortable to help work on and manage some of her excitement and keeping "four on the floor". When she isn't playing with a partner, she's very good at keeping herself occupied with durable chew toys and is content spending lots of time on her own playing, and destroying and de-squeaking as many stuffies as you'll allow! A good routine is the key to a happy Harriet. In addition to being a dog who has been a lover of all people, Harriet has also done well with many other dogs that she has had the chance to meet. While she does well as an only pet and is happy to shine in the spotlight, any adopter with resident pups that are up for doing slow introductions and managing toys and resources could be a great match for her — and we'd love to schedule a dog meet! Harriet received a specialty eye surgery (entropion) that she has recovered well from, and other than receiving daily eye ointment should require no further treatment at this time. She is an excellent patient when receiving her medication, especially if you have a yummy snack ready for her as a nice reward! If you're ready to add loads of the happiest Harriet energy into your home, she is more than ready to fill the role! Adopt Harriet and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Harriet's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Harriet's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Harriet, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Harriet's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harriet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harriet’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Harriet’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harriet’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
