This magical 3-year-old mixed breed weighs in at a perfect 31 lbs and is ready to flip your world upside-down (in the very best way). Waffles is the kind of girl who makes every day feel like Sunday morning. She’s playful, kind-hearted, and simply delicious with kids and other dogs. While her manners with cats are still a mystery, she’s the kind of pup who always seems to bring out the best in everyone. She appears to be house-trained and crate-trained, but mostly she’s trained in the fine art of melting hearts and making humans smile. Currently being fostered in Harrisburg, PA, Waffles is waiting patiently for her forever family—someone who loves snuggles, tail wags, and a little extra joy with their morning coffee. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Waffles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Waffles’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Waffles’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Waffles’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
