About this Dog
Meet Brownie – The Sweetest Snack You’ll Ever Love! Brownie is a 6 month-old male Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing about 27 lbs now and expected to grow to around 40–50 lbs. He’s playful, lovable, and just the right mix of goofy and cuddly. Honestly, who doesn’t want a Brownie in their life? This active pup would thrive with a playful dog friend or an on-the-go family. He’s crate trained, rides well in the car, and once he burns off that puppy energy, he turns into a total lap-lover and snuggle machine. Brownie loves to play fetch in the backyard but is not particular to what he retrieves (or steals from you)! He has taken the job as my gardening assistant very seriously! Brownie is kid-approved and fostered with dogs of all sizes and cats (though his puppy play might be a bit much for more reserved felines). He can be shy at first but warms up quickly with a little patience—and a treat or two! Brownie does take daily medication (less than $1/day) to manage mild seizures, which are well controlled and don’t affect his playful, happy life. Brownie is vaccinated, and ready to meet his forever family! Fostered in Mechanicsburg, PA Come meet Brownie—your sweet new sidekick is waiting! Apply at https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Adopt Brownie and Receive Brownie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Brownie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Brownie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Brownie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Brownie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Brownie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Brownie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Brownie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Brownie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
