Lainey is available for adoption. She is 4 years old and weighs 11 pounds. Her adoption fee is $850.00.Lainey is a sweet, 10.5 lb, 4 year-old yorkie girl who had lived outside on a farm, in a barn. She was brought to us April 28, 2025, and was so timid she didn’t want to get out of the crate. Since then, she has come so far. Not only has she gotten used to living and exploring the house, she is doing very well with her potty training, is walking on a leash and is getting along with our other dog (a Shorkie female about the same size), and is following my husband and me. She’s very affectionate. She is very smart. She already knows her new name, follows some commands, enjoys pets and tummy rubs, and wants love and attention, as she deserves. She sleeps with my husband and comes upstairs to wake me up every morning at 7 . We are so happy to be part of Lainey learning how to be treated like a Yorkie should be . Lainey is staying with Nancy in Mc Kees Rocks, PA.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and A Lainey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, A Lainey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the A Lainey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, A Lainey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
