Meet Ember! A fiery orange glow in a gray world, Ember appeared as if from nowhere—walking out of a quiet cemetery and into an alleyway where volunteers were searching for a mother cat and her kittens. As the pop of a can of food echoed down the alley, Ember’s curiosity (and hunger!) got the best of him. Moments later, a sweet, friendly boy was weaving between legs, meowing for attention and scarfing down food like he hadn’t had a good meal in days. Ember’s gentle nature and loving spirit made it easy to scoop him up and bring him to safety. Now rescued, this once-wandering soul will never again have to search for food or affection in lonely places. Ember is warm, affectionate, and absolutely adores people. After we have verified the adoption, Ember (FCID# 06/23/2025 - 10 Trainer)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
