About this Cat
Meet Hornsby! This handsome white and buff boy has a heart as big as his purrs. Rescue was called to a familiar spot with reports of a limping cat hanging around a porch on a busy street. When we arrived, there he was—just as described—holding his front paw up and clearly in pain. But the moment he heard the pop of a food can, Hornsby came right over, trusting and hopeful. We scooped him up, gently placed him in a carrier, and promised him that the hard days were behind him. Now safe and healed, Hornsby is showing his true colors—a total lovebug with a playful, chatty streak. He adores being pet and will reach out with his paw to tap you if you’re not paying attention. He’s not shy about making his presence known, and his charming little conversations are sure to brighten your day. Hornsby is a sweet, social guy who’s ready to leave street life behind for a home full of love, warmth, and treats that pop open with a familiar sound.
