About this Dog
Jack was rescued from south Texas and adopted in April 2020. At some point he was rehomed by his original adopter to a new family but unfortunately they were not familiar with the German Shepherd breed and didn't understand him so they returned him to SSR. Jack has filled out and blossomed into a wonderful dog since he was saved from Texas. Now, he's healthy and happy! He loves everyone he meets and will make you laugh everyday. He can coexist with other dogs (pictured in his profile with a doggy buddy), but he is dog selective. This means he's picky about who he lets in his inner circle. So slow introductions with resident dog(s) will need to happen before Jack can be adopted. After all, we want to make sure his next home is his forever home! Jack has lived with small children and he adores them! He loves walks, but especially enjoys snuggling on the couch. He's ready to be your big snuggle buddy. If you have room in your home and heart to give this guy the love he deserves please apply today to adopt him.
