Birthday: November 25, 2024 Beckham is one orange cat who loves to be with his people. He was found on a farm with his sister when they were rescued. His back legs were noticeably not working properly, and he was taken into a vet for x-rays. Upon further observation, the vet had deduced that the young kitten had sustained some sort of trauma when he was around 4-weeks old. They are a permanent deformation, but this smart kitty has learned how to pivot around with one back leg to move! He's not in any pain, and he's one of the happiest critters you'd ever meet! His only special needs requirement is a low-sided litter box as it is difficult to get himself in and out with his legs as they are. When we say that Beckham is a people's cat, we aren't joking! This boy loves to be held ALL THE TIME. The second you cradle him in your arms, he's like melted butter! As you carry him around, he'll serenade to you with a constant purr! He's also quite a little die-hard player! It's so adorable to watch him lay down to play with his toys while looking up at you with those big gorgeous eyes. He also gets along really well with other kitties too! Beckham's adoption donation is $150 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter . For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beckham was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beckham’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beckham’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beckham’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
