About this Dog
Irene was dumped at the gate of a high kill shelter in WV one weekend. She is a sweet dog that deserves a family for the rest of her years. Poor Irene has been diagnosed with Cushing disease and will require cushings medication for the rest of her life. With her Cushing Irene pees alot very frequently. She needs someone that will take her out every couple hours to pee. She sometimes needs to pee in between so foster mom has xlarge size pee pads inside which she will go on. Also the same with overnight. She can't hold it an entire night even though she is on meds. She is on 2 different kinds of meds and requires a test every couple months to make sure meds are regulated. She is so sweet and friendly. She walks perfectly on a leash. She likes to be petted and be with people. She is great with other dogs and pigs. ** LOCAL CENTRAL PA APPLICATIONS ONLY **Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming. Irene is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting her. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

Adopt Irene and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Irene's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Irene's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Irene, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Irene's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Irene was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Irene’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Irene’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Irene’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
