About this Cat
Birthday: December 19, 2012 Something about the "tough guy" act with kitties are always endearing. As soon as they open up to you, they become the BIGGEST lover boys! The same can be said about Thomas. He was an ex-tom cat who was actually rescued by another rescue. He used to own the streets he lived on, taking on any fighter who dared to challenge him and building up scars from every battle. He developed a cloudy eye and contracted FIV+. The primary means of transmission for the virus is through bite wounds from an infected cat. Sharing water bowls or grooming is not an efficient way for it to spread, so as long as there's non-aggressive contact, no other kitty will be infected! He may look rough and tough, but Thomas is a real sugar pie! He's loving in the indoor lifestyle and adores people relentlessly! He's the sweetest, gentlest lovebug you'd ever meet, and with those big tom cat cheeks, it's hard not to want to nuzzle next to them! The second he sees a human he adores, he will purr nonstop. He'll even show off his silly side and flip over and turn to show his affection as he's receiving pets! He's grateful for his second chance at life, and he can't wait to spend the rest of it with a loving family inside their home! Thomas' adoption donation is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. Adopt Thomas and Receive Thomas's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Thomas's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Thomas's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Thomas, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Thomas's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Thomas was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Thomas’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Thomas’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Thomas’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
