About this Cat
Birthday: October 6, 2023 Say "pstpstpst" to Miss Newt, a former street cat that came to humans for help with her kittens! She gave birth to two sweet kittens in a flower pot on a cold, rainy September evening just outside of Mechanicsburg. She was starving, and her kittens were underweight when they were brought into their foster home. Once she had food and a warm place to sleep, this street savvy girl turned into a professional biscuit maker -kneading floor, laps and even the air when she got scritches! Now that her kittens are independent, she can focus on her priorities in life, finding a cozy lap to nap on, defeating the laser beams and licking every scrap of food from her plate. This smart girl is still improving her house manners and will occasionally still need some corrections, especially surrounding food (including people food). She will sniff out all the treats, fully litter trained, good with use of appropriate scratchers and not aggressive to humans. Newt would do best in a house with no other cats, she has not been introduced to dogs in her foster home. She has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on her vaccinations and rabies shots. She has also been treated for worms and fleas. If you are looking for a snuggle companion for life look no further than Miss Newt! Newt's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. Adopt Newt and Receive Newt's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Newt's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Newt's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Newt, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Newt's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Newt was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Newt’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Newt’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Newt’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
